About Kristina
I am a highly creative communications professional who is eager to
engage consumers with stories. Throughout my career, I have specialized in content planning, social media management and videography work. Leveraging my background in video as well as news production, I have been able to build and strengthen relationships with media partners. This has allowed me to engage further with the community by enhancing our target audiences across a more expansive range of channels.
My expertise started in video production, but any chance I have to create something is where I thrive. During the past few years, I have enjoyed getting to understand and support a company's brand. Keeping to a brand standard and being able to tell the company's story through the things they do everyday, is a skill I am excited to say that I have. I have learned to use social media, newsletters, email marketing, radio commercials, television interviews and much more to help communicate a brand to a wide variety of audiences.
While working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Television Arts at Bradley University, I also picked up double minors in Creative Writing and Social Media Marketing. I have found that both of these have helped me already in my career. Social media is a widespread avenue to tell stories and you need a great script in order to execute that, where strong creative writing skills come in handy.

At the end of the workday, you won't just find me at home. A few days out of the week, I teach dance in Morton, IL. Becoming the Acro Director for my studio has given me a brand new appreciation for the art form that I love! Getting to create a curriculum and continuing to change, update and adjust that curriculum to cater to the needs of my students is so rewarding. I have found that my students often inspire me and they help me strive to be a better teacher each and everyday.

Since graduating from Bradley, I have found myself looking for the next story that I want to tell. It started at WEEK 25 News, getting to put the stories of people in my community on air. Then from there, at Hoop House Creative, I was able to help relive couples' love stories as well as helping Central Illinois companies show their community what they are all about. Even now at Five Points Washington, I am able to showcase the number of ways that Five Points helps our community. With so many stories told already, I am excited to see where my next story takes me.
