Holocaust Memorial Project

During my Senior year at Bradley University (2018), I took an independent study course where I was to create a project, get approval from the University and complete this project within one semester.

For my independent study, I worked with the Jewish Federation of Peoria to create a video for their organization. In Peoria, there is a Holocaust memorial at the Riverfront Museum in downtown Peoria. They wanted a video documenting children of survivors and the stories that their parents told them about the Holocaust. During this project, I interviewed children of survivors of the Holocaust along with volunteers/members of this memorial project. Throughout the entirety of this project, I was responsible for shooting, lighting, editing, producing and conducting all interviews for this project.

This piece was the finished project and it was shown at the Riverfront Museum for Yom Hashoah on April 10, 2018. During this project, I also put together smaller videos to be used for social media and on the Federation's Website.
