Hoop House Creative - Wedding Films & Same Day Edits

These wedding films were edited together after filming the couple's wedding day (8-12 hour days). I was a videographer on all of these wedding days, as well as the drone pilot.

These weddings were filmed on Sony A7sii and SonyA7siii cameras. We used a variety of monopods, tripods and Ronin stabilization gimbals to help film these weddings. These films were edited in Adobe Premier, music from MusicBed and effects from Motion Array.

These fully produced wedding films were the largest, edited video our couples received after their wedding days. As the editor, I was responsible for picking out all of the music for the films (with the couple's requests in mind), picking out the audio/story for the film, color grading, audio mixing and editing the final product. On top of this final film, I also edited smaller videos for the couples: full ceremony, full reception and any large moments from the mornings such as first looks and messages. In all, most couples received 6 - 12 fully colored, audio mixed and edited videos.

One of the video packages we offered was a Same Day Edit package. For those wedding films, I edited the films together on the day of the wedding; in about 8-hours, depending on the timeline for each couple. The shooting team brought me the footage throughout the day as I edited. These videos were not color graded, but the audio was mixed and the music was chosen for the couple prior to arrival on their wedding day. This video was then shown to the couple and their guests during their reception.
